Le D\u00e9partement des Etudes islamiques de l\u2019Acad\u00e9mie tunisienne des sciences, des lettres et des arts, Beit al-Hikma, a organis\u00e9, le mercredi 07 juin 2023, une pr\u00e9sentation de la traduction du livre de feu S\u00e2ad Ghrab, intitul\u00e9 \u00ab Ibn Arafa et le malikisme en Ifriqiya au 8e si\u00e8cle de l\u2019H\u00e9gire (14e si\u00e8cle) \u00bb.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le livre, traduit par l\u2019historien et universitaire tunisien Pr Nejmeddine Hentati, a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 par Pr Taher Mannai. Cet ouvrage est, \u00e0 l\u2019origine, la th\u00e8se de Doctorat d\u2019Etat, soutenue par S\u00e2ad Ghrab \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de la Sorbonne (Paris) en 1984, sous la direction de Mohamed Arkoun.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’ouvrage, qui s\u2019inscrit dans la section de l\u2019islamologie, comporte cinq parties d\u00e9clin\u00e9es sous quinze chapitres. Dans la premi\u00e8re partie, l’auteur pr\u00e9sente les grandes \u00e9tapes de l’\u00e9volution politico-religieuse en Ifriqiya depuis les d\u00e9buts de l’islam jusqu’\u00e0 la fondation de la dynastie hafside.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

La deuxi\u00e8me partie traite du cadre culturel de la formation intellectuelle d’Ibn Arafa et un essai de dresser son portrait biographique. L’attention est port\u00e9e, dans la troisi\u00e8me partie, sur l\u2019\u0153uvre d’Ibn Arafa, et par la suite, sur ses disciples, dans la quatri\u00e8me partie. La derni\u00e8re section du livre a \u00e9t\u00e9 consacr\u00e9e aux grands probl\u00e8mes de l\u2019\u00e9poque d\u2019Ibn Arafa.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’auteur n’est pas tomb\u00e9 dans l\u2019\u00e9cueil du simple ouvrage biographique retra\u00e7ant la vie d’Ibn Arafa. Ce personnage \u00e9tait plut\u00f4t \u00ab un pr\u00e9texte \u00bb pour r\u00e9aliser une \u00e9tude d’histoire religieuse autour du 8\u00e8me si\u00e8cle de l\u2019H\u00e9gire \/ 14\u00e8me si\u00e8cle.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce si\u00e8cle \u00e9tant d’une grande importance, car des personnalit\u00e9s remarquables y v\u00e9curent, \u00e0 commencer par Ibn Arafa et Ibn Khaldoun (808 H\/1406). Cette p\u00e9riode rev\u00eat, par ailleurs, une grande importance de par le fait qu\u2019elle a marqu\u00e9 le d\u00e9but du d\u00e9clin du monde islamique face aux menaces chr\u00e9tiennes. Ibn Khaldoun en \u00e9tait conscient et analysa la situation du point de vue du philosophe, de l’historien et de l’homme politique.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alors qu’Ibn Arafa a trait\u00e9 d\u2019un certain nombre de questions de son \u00e9poque, en adoptant une approche rationnelle, mais, toutefois, impr\u00e9gn\u00e9e de l’esprit de la jurisprudence.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’importance de l\u2019ouvrage r\u00e9side, aussi, en ce qu\u2019il s’int\u00e9resse, \u00e9galement, \u00e0 l’une des principales \u00e9tapes du d\u00e9veloppement de l’\u00e9cole de pens\u00e9e m\u00e2likite en Ifriqiya.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement s\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9 au Palais de l\u2019Acad\u00e9mie \u00ab Beit al-Hikma \u00bb \u00e0 10H00.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n
