Mohamed-Salah Mzali: The Tread of My Life

The book chronicles the political career as well as the professional and educational paths of the politician and scholar Mohamed Salah Mzali. According to the work, Mzali was a blend of historian, economist, educational reformer and political leader, having held major ministrial positions, such as the Grand Vizier (Prime Minister) before independence.

This work goes beyond the narrative style of traditional memoirs, as it raises political issues, documents economic transformations and records a series of events that shaped both the local reality and the external context.

This book, which includes numerous testimonies, was published by the Tunisian Academy of Sciences, Letters and Arts “Beit al-Hikma”in cooperation with Cérès Editions and the Institute for Research on the Contemporary Maghreb.
