Arabic poetry heralding revolution: The Tunisian example (02 volumes)
The book partakes of creative militant works, for all its contents defy political
taboos. Its author centred on examples of Tunisian poems dating back from the
1950s to the fall of the regime in 2011.
This literary form does not focus so much on the aesthetics and creative character
of the texts but rather on their revolutionary content and their combat against
political systems and economic contexts. The book therefore dealt with the
details of the social and political content rebelling against methods inimical to
citizenship. Those texts, inspired by “life, dream and revolution”, according to
the author, played a pioneering role in undermining the ruling system.
