The Beit al-Hikma Lecture 2018-2019

The book includes a collection of scientific, intellectual and literary lectures
organised by the scholarly sections of the Tunisian Beit al-Hikma Academy of
Science, Literature and Art in the 2018-2019 academic year. At intellectual level,
the book includes approaches to modernity, contemporary philosophical thought
and linguistics. The literary lectures were concerned with such landmark works
that contributed to mould the historic figure of Queen Sophonisbe to whom
universities and international art and research centres devoted conferences and
creative works. Furthermore, the book contains scientific approaches to heredity
and bacterial resistance to antibiotics.
