The Andalusian Heritage in Tunisia: From the Thirteenth Century to Today
The book, “The Andalusian Heritage in Tunisia: From the Thirteenth Century to Today”, comprises the proceedings of an international symposium of the same name, held at the headquarters of the Tunisian Academy of Sciences, Letters, and Arts “Beit al-Hikma” on November 25-26,2021.
The symposium was organised by the Academy’s Department of Literature in cooperation with The Spanish Embassy in Tunis, The Cervantes Cultural Center, the Higher Institute of Music, and the National Library of Tunisia.
The symposium included interventions by prominent Arab, Spanish, and French thinkers who focused on unaddressed areas related to political, economic, linguistic, religious, heritage, and musical issues within the Andalusian heritage in Tunisia.
The book is part of a joint publication between “Beit al-Hikma” Academy, The Spanish Embassy in Tunis and The Cervantes Institute.
